Meet the Cast

 

              Jeremiah Blount II Kyro Carter

 

Florence and Jeremiah The First - brought forth their second son on the West Side of Chicago. They nurtured this ninth of their eleven children through three cities and a plethora of fulfilling experiences. They instilled a love of learning, community uplift, and the arts. These forces coalesced into high school acting, undergraduate writing, and post-graduate writing, editing & illustration. Jeremiah also received local, national and international achievements in education. In the role of Kyro Carter, Jeremiah Blount II gives voice to the strength and power required to succeed in the world today.  

 

                       

               Courtney Jones - Asia Carter


A native of the mid-west and a classically trained chef, Courtney Jones has always gotten compliments on her voice. However it wasn't until 2023, when she made her debut on the podcast series "The Pride of Kyro", that she was allowed to shine. Her voice has been described as soft, peaceful, and calming, with smoldering undertones.

 
                                                                     

              LaToya Ransom - London Carter     

 

                LaToya Ransom, also known as LaToya Lyndre, began exploring her interest in voice acting while working as an on – air talent at Hampton University’s radio station, WHOV 88.1 FM. In one or two takes, she was able to give life to spots, drops and commercials heard around the Hampton Roads Area with passion and believability. She graduated from Hampton University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Broadcast Journalism. LaToya soon became a voice over artist for numerous events in the DC area during her graduate studies at Howard University. Latoya's persistence has been able to voice galas for the U.S. Dream Academy and Africare. She also gained experience as a voice intern for WHUR WORLD 96.3 HD2 FM. LaToya graduated from Howard University with a Master of Arts degree in Mass Communications and Media Studies. Her latest voice over ventures include recording a number of audiobooks and audio courses and narrating a Smithsonian Channel
special.
LaToya’s singing voice also speaks volumes.

She was classically trained for nine years but also brings her gospel and jazz flavor to whatever she sings. Her experience has granted her the opportunity to be ranked as the #1 Alto twice consecutively for the state of SC for All-State Competitions; open for Anita Baker in Baltimore, MD; open for Trey Songz in Hampton, Virginia; perform with Plunky & Oneness; sing at Carnegie Hall with the Heritage Signature Chorale; and travel with the Original U.S.A. Gospel Singers as one of the lead vocalists for their 2018-2019 and 2019-2020 European tours.  

 

                Zewdu Moges - Koran Carter

 

Zewdu Moges (Zo-dew Mo-Gus) is a voiceover artist who has made significant strides in the industry over the past year. With his passion for the craft, Zewdu has lent his voice to two books and is playing 4 different characters in The Pride of Kyro. While pursuing a major in Mass Communications and a minor in Media Design at Clayton State University, Zewdu's lifelong admiration for films and cartoons motivated him to establish his own business, Moges Productions LLC.

 

 

                  Civ Jones - Nefertiti Allen

 

Civ Jones, author of "7 Lessons Hip Hop Taught Me That School Didn't," is a cultural analyst and former on-air personality. Known for her insightful perspectives, she has been featured on BET's "Baltimore Speaks" and recognized in City Paper's "The Women of Baltimore Hip-Hop" article. Civ has graced the cover of Baltimore Times for her pioneering contributions to local events. A proud Army Veteran, Civ holds a degree in Communication Studies from Towson University. Civ's diverse background enriches her understanding of various cultures and perspectives.

 

 

               Raven Noble - Brooklyn Carter

 

   Hey Hey! I’m Raven from Miami Fl, I love exploring the Atlanta life with friends while getting through Nursing school. I enjoy watching competitive sports with my son and outdoor activities!  Voice acting, while I never knew this side of entertainment, I'm excited about the opportunities and doors that can possibly open.

 

       Craig "JA'Son" Frazier - Kingston Carter

 

 Craig "JA'Son" Frazier is a native of Brooklyn, New York. This Brooklynite's early introduction to stage performance spands from the mid-eighties Hip-Hop culture as an Emcee before moving to Atlanta, GA in '89. Engaging and animated, JA'Son's charisma and added southern charm brings energy and range to his debut voice-over performance. He's a proud father of 3 young women; a School Social Worker; and he is currently pursuing his doctoral degree in Educational Policy Studies. JA'Son looks forward to expanding his creativity in writing and voice-over acting to commercials, video games, film acting and more.

 

 

              Tyisha Shuford - Farrah Wright

 

Tyisha Shuford hails from Staten Island, NY and has always had a love for the arts.   With a keen ear for dialects and accents, Tyisha excels in crafting authentic and compelling portrayals that resonates with audiences worldwide.  From commanding narrations to whimsical animations Tyisha approaches each role with dedication and creativity, striving to deliver performances that leave a lasting impression.  With a commitment to professionalism and collaboration, Tyisha is ready to breathe life into any project she takes on.

 

                   

                     Nick Meyer - Wes Hughes

 

A native of Georgia, I like long walks on beaches around the world, food trucks, and burning man. I am and always will be the optimist, the hoper of far flung hopes, and the dreamer of improbable dreams.

 

 

                                                                 

 

                          Djuan Williams - C4         

 

Djuan Williams (aka Deejay), 28, based out of Atlanta, GA, spent much of his youth in the studio. Whether around professional equipment or DIY closet booths, Deejay always felt a deeper sense of purpose to the world when paired with a microphone. Chasing this feeling of purpose, Deejay would find himself DJing and creating music with artists around the world. During his travels, he would discover the platform "backstage", introducing the opportunity of voice acting. Nervous about taking on another creative venture, he would ponder with this idea for almost a year, before packing his bags and moving from Colorado Springs to Atlanta, GA. In 2023 is when Deejay would be offered his first voice acting role in an audio drama podcast named “The Pride of Kyro”. Due to his natural deep tone and love for persona building, he continued to gain work creating user generated content, and small roles in Indie Games.

               

                     

         Dwayne Bradshaw - Captain Mark Cheeba

 

     Dwayne Bradshaw is a native of Staten Island, NY. His Trinidadian roots along with his creative abilities always fueled a passion for acting and theatre. Throughout the years in his professional career, he never lost the hunger for acting, television, etc. So, when the opportunity for a role in a “The Pride of Kyro” opened, he immediately took action and the rest is history. Dwayne firm belief is that if you believe in yourself, nobody else should deter you from your goals and dreams ahead. There are no limits to the things that can be done. The only person that can hold you back is yourself.
